How to read this map
  • Source: NYC Dept. of Finance recorded sales, 2021–2025, building-level transactions only.
  • Value shown is the median price/SF per ZIP (sale price ÷ gross SF; land SF for vacant land), not an average, so outliers don't skew it.
  • Faded / dashed ZIPs have fewer than 3 sales for your filter — treat as low confidence.
  • Excluded: co-op and condo apartment unit sales, nominal/non-arm's-length transfers under $10k, and impossible price/SF from bad square footage.
  • Multiple years or classes blend by volume-weighted median. Mixing asset classes mixes different markets — read one class at a time for a clean signal.
  • Search an address to pin every individual sale within 1 mile; click a pin for the deal and Street View.
  • Pins are street-level geocoded (~94% of sales), accurate to the block, not the exact lot. 1–3 family homes are excluded from pins.
  • Not a substitute for verifying a specific sale in ACRIS before relying on it.
